In your role as a security professional, you have a unique opportunity to become a trusted partner. Your expertise provides the clarity our customers need in understanding the risks to their data and that of their customers, helping to prioritise and focus action in the most cost-effective way, whilst contributing to the protection of Brand, reputation & margin on Managed Contracts and other commercial arrangements.

**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Accountable for the assurance of contracted security obligations for each Programme of work affiliated to allocated GSS Frameworks/Contracts.
- Responsible for the independent assurance of BTs’ UK and global Obligations.
- To act as a consultant for Contract Security Management best practice at Programme and Project level in the business unit.
- Accountable for owning the security relationship with the end customer, supporting the Account Director and Commercial lead.
- Accountable for ensuring that the necessary cross functional teams are delivering the customer contracted security requirements and monitoring security delivery during the life of the contract.

**You'll have the following skills & experience**
- Maintain a DV level security clearance.
- Recognised Industry Security Qualifications e.g. CISSP and ISO27001 Lead auditor.
- Membership of accredited professional body e.g. Full Member of CIISec (MCIIS).
- Detailed knowledge of Regulation and Industry Standards - e.g. GDPR, ISO27001.
- Strong skills in Risk Management.
- Detailed understanding of security assurance processes.
- Good understanding of BT’s systems and processes, supply chain, product portfolio, Architectural Conformance, Customer contract negotiation and ISMS.
- People and Team Management Experience directly or on a matrix basis.
- Core competencies - Self-managing, well organised, calm under pressure, excellent negotiation skills, able to translate security risk into business language.
