**Senior Account Handler**

**Job Purpose**:
To fulfil the credit control service agreement with Davies’ MGA Client as per specified SLAs and defined internal working practices established for the client. Responsible and accountable to provide support to service manager and account handlers to ensure that a high standard of service is delivered and maintained.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible and accountable for delivery of tasks that form your role
- KPI’s - meet all internal and external KPIs as defined within this JD
- Meet agreed deadlines
- Work as a team to ensure all functions are completed within timescales advised
- Adhoc tasks as required by the business

**Daily/BAU**
- Update of Bank Account schedule from client bank account and ensure that the schedule balances to client bank records
- Reconciliation and allocation of new cash to client’s internal system
- Raise, chase and monitor queries raised with Client and Brokers
- Update and maintenance of Query Log
- Accountable for the reconciliation of queries raised by carriers, brokers and client
- Update and maintenance of Payment Record with respect to broker over-settlements, return payments, paid premium bordereau payments, Internal Account Transfers
- Update and maintenance of Master Aged Debt Project schedule
- Attend daily team meeting
- Organise daily workflow for team
- Provide feedback to manager and team members
- Escalation of issues to manager and client where necessary
- Liaise with client to discuss and/or resolve issues

**Weekly**
- Production of Latest Aged Debt Report and remittance to client for broker chasing
- Review of Unallocated Cash on Query Log in Cashbook to ensure that all relevant cash items are progressed
- Chasing of all outstanding queries

**Monthly**
- Creation and remittance of monthly broker statements
- Creation and remittance of Over-Settlement report and subsequent payment requests
- Creation and reconciliation of Paid Premium Bordereau
- Request Paid Premium Bordereau payments
- Creation and reconciliation of Written Premium Bordereau
- Update and maintenance of Paid and Written Premium Cumulative Bordereaux
- Creation of Aged Debt Reports
- Creation of Cash, Queries and Unallocated Cash Summary
- Creation of Open Query Summary
- Month-End Commentary
- Creation of Client Dashboard
- Responsible for the maintenance of all processes and procedure documents, ensuring they are kept up to date and reviewed on a regular basis
