Administrative Assistant (Procurement)

Location - Salisbury (Hybrid)

Pay rate - £11.02 per hour

Hours - 37 hours per week

Duration - 3 months

Our client in is looking for an Administrator to support them during a busy period. The role requires somebody that has good attention to detail, previous admin experience with energy to jump into different tasks as and when required. This is an excitingand interesting role supporting a lovely team.

**Duties include**:
To act as a point of contact for the function and provide appropriate advice, guidance and/or support.

To ensure effective systems are in place and provide advice to senior managers regarding system development and review

Establish and maintain effective systems and procedures for supporting the procurement function and acting as administrator for the contracts register and the internal Procurement department page.

Advise and support budget managers with lower-level procurement activity, in line with the companies policies and procedures. If this relates to a quote process or an exemptions process, pass onto the relevant Procurement Category Lead.

Produce reports, collate & gather information as required by the Procurement Manager, including spend analysis data, contract information, performance reports and annual procurement exercise. Ensuring these are of a high standard to meet the relevant deadlinesas required.

Undertake small project work, for example procurement research and support as directed and agreed by the Procurement Manager.

Provide general administrative support to the Procurement Manager, such as arranging meetings

You will need to be able to provide and demonstrate:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Four GCSE passes or equivalent level 2 qualification/ NVQ
- Access to a vehicle and full valid driving license as this role will sometimes require travel to other offices.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office
- Experience of using databases, interpreting and organising data and using the internet for research
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to internal / external customer care
- Good keyboard skills with ability to input data accurately and quickly
- Effective organisational and time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality of work
