You'll be home based earning uncapped commission

**BASIC SALARY**: Up to £45,000 dependant on your relevant work experience & qualifications

**LOCATION**: Home based role in the East Midlands or the M62 Corridor

**COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS**:
We are flexible on your location asyou will have to travel to customer sites. You might live in Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Northampton, Peterborough, Cambridge, Lincoln or anywhere else in the East Midlands or the A1 / M1 corridor. Or you may live on theM62 corridor and be commutable to the likes of Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Bradford or Huddersfield

Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager : Acoustic Solutions - Construction

We supply into the construction industry and building services companies, directly and though sub-contractors. Your leads will come from construction tenders, proactive business development, up-selling existing customers and networking through your existingcontacts

Decision makers are varied and include: Acousticians, Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, Project Managers and Architects.

A basic off the shelf product ranges from £50 for an individual component and a full bespoke system could be worth £150,000.

**Your responsibilities**: Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager : Acoustic Solutions - Construction
- This is a home based role covering predominately East Midlands or the M62 corridor; but you can work nationally if you want to
- Selling off the shelf products and/or bespoke mechanical solutions to the construction industry
- Develop your own sales strategy, targets and forecasts with your Sales Manager
- Build accurate proposals - supported by an experienced, credible and knowledgeable internal sales and project team
- Attend internal sales meetings at our Southern site, 1-2 times a month is likely. It's important you build strong relationships with your key stakeholders internally including supply-chain, production and quality - although initially you'll need to spendmore time with us on site while you're doing product training

**Your experience**: Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager : Acoustic Solutions - Construction

Ideally, you will have:

- Proven B2B engineering sales experience
- Previously sold acoustic, noise, vibration or sound proofing (NVCE) related products or solutions into the construction industry, via Sub Contractors, Building Services or M&E contractors ALTHOUGH we will look at any technical sales professionals that havesold an engineered solution into the construction industry
- Self-motivation - you'll need to be comfortable working remotely & motivating yourself to be successful

**Qualifications**:

- Your Engineering qualification is likely to be in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Sound Engineering or Building Services
- If you hold a Diploma or higher from the Institute of Acoustics, that would be advantageous but is not a necessity

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets and worked with the following products and/or services:Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, Regional Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, ContractsEngineer, Proposals Engineer - noise, vibration, building acoustics, NVCE, HVAC, architectural, flooring, construction.
