This is a really exciting time to join the ED team as the departments Stock Co-ordinator. If you can work in a fast-paced environment co-ordinating with the nursing staff, the provisions of stock, daily safety checks and ensuring equipment is ready to use and serviced on time.

We are a friendly & supportive team who will help you develop to your full potential.

Whilst we serve a mostly rural population we are also a designated Trauma unit and have a track record in handling major incidents successfully which offers a varied and challenging patient workload and the number of attendances is growing. We work closely with the ambulance service and specialist teams both within the hospital and in the community to ensure that we provide the right care, at the right time.

- To ensure that the Emergency Department environment is maintained in a clean and hygienic manner.
- To follow the principles of infection control and health and safety.
- To assist the nursing staff, through the provisions of non-nursing duties, in the promotion of health.
- To ensure the department is safely stocked of medical equipment.
- To ensure that medical devices and equipment are maintained in a clean manner.
