Office Angels Edinburgh have a great opportunity to join our great clients team on a part-time, 6-month fixed term contract. The hours of work are 20 hours per week - preferably over 4/5 days although the client is flexible on this (i.e Monday-Thursday 10am-2pm).With a salary is £27.5k (pro rata)
This person will take on a senior administrator role within the small finance team - reporting into Head of Finance and working with a fellow administrator on the daily/monthly finance tasks.
Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Administrator to provide support to the Head of Finance in a range of monthly processes to support in the preparation of monthly financial accounts and carry out monthly checks to ensure accuracy within thefunction.
Our client is looking for someone with previous experience in a finance role with a natural interest in numbers / finance. An ability to prioritise your own workload and work under pressure to meet financial deadlines is essential. A key requirement to ensureaccuracy and have a good attention to detail is necessary to ensure complete accuracy for the financial and pick up any errors before these are client facing.
You will be liaising with clients daily so communication skills and the ability to listen and fully understand our clients' requirements will be essential.
Given the systems that our client will be using they will also be looking for someone with excellent analytical thinking who is competent with technology and new systems. **Previous experience with Sage Accounting or similar is desirable.**
You will enjoy having a diverse range of tasks and working in a small friendly and efficient team.
Our client will provide comprehensive training so that you have in-depth product knowledge of their software and the other systems they use so that you are able to support our customers and fellow team members with their questions and issues relating tothe system.
The types of tasks you can expect:
- Start of the month Customer Finance Process
- Inbox management
- Cash flow Updates
- Supplier invoices
- Customer invoicing
- Responding to customer & supplier financial queries
- Assisting with monthly checks to ensure all financials are posted accurately and on time.
- During peak times potential to support our customer service team.
Systems used:
- Sage50 Accounts or similar (experience desirable)
- Bespoke Content Management Systems
- Salesforce (CRM System)
- Opayo and other payment gateways
- Gmail and G Suite (google docs, google sheets)
- Microsoft Word & Excel
- Power BI
