Dental Therapist/hygienist

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Therapist/ Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. This is a self employed position and we offer competitive remuneration.

We have dedicated and friendly nursing team.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Provide a range of dental treatments including restorative procedures utilising the full dental therapist scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical imaging techniques.

**Qualifications**
- Valid Dental Hygienist licence or certification from an accredited institution.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage patient records efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to provide comprehensive dental care
- Engage with patients empathetically, ensuring a pain-free and positive dental experience

Pay: £19.50-£35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 per week
