Working within our forward-thinking Water Treatment department, you’ll work at our Leicestershire Distribution Service Reservoirs and Booster Stations over a large geographical area. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a large Operational team, striving for goal zero from a safety perspective, continuously improving site standards. In your role you will have the opportunity to embrace curiosity and learn new skills outside of your ‘day job’. Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

- Operate distribution service reservoirs (DSR) and distribution booster stations (DBS) associated assets.
- Maintain & improve site standards/ identify Health and Safety improvements.
- Operate the assets under your control to ensure that all quality and quantity limits are met.
- Participate in an out of hours standby rota.
- Ensure the Health & Safety of yourself, colleagues, visitors and members of the public is maintained at all times.
- Ensure sites are operated at a minimum cost in an energy efficient way.
- Comply with statutory, company policies and procedures.
- Operate the assets under your control to ensure that there is no adverse impact on the environment.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

Having experience in water treatment or other production processes, Working in a mechanical / electrical environment would be advantageous and working with chemical processes would be beneficial. A full valid UK driving licence would be required for the role.

Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity and a caring attitude in equal weight.
