Our award-winning organization seeks an experienced Relief Kitchen Assistant to join the Hospitality team covering our bustling services in Golders Green, St Johns Wood, and Hendon area.

As a Relief Kitchen Assistant, you will provide top-notch Hospitality Services across our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres.

**This post is to cover absence on an as and when required basis across services in north west London. The ability to commute to work across multi sites is essential for this role. This role will include some weekends.**

**What you will be doing**

You will have a key role ensuring we deliver an excellent service to our customers, creating an inviting and pleasant environment. This is a busy kitchen and will involve washing up & food preparation.
- Basic food preparation including vegetables, salads, and sandwiches
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and presentable environment
- Preparing and arranging food counters and dining areas, ready for service
- Serving hot & cold food and beverages
- Operating the till and cashing up when required

**What you will need**:

- Previous commercial kitchen experience is essential, preferably in care home environment or similar.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to undertake this qualification)
- Great communication skills, confident speaking to a range of people
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Willing to undertake appropriate training (e.g., Supervision, NVQ Training)
- To be able to work across multiple sites in north west London area at short notice to provide cover.
