We have an exciting opportunity for a Admin Lead to join our team in Yeovil

This position is for a 12 month fixed term contract to lead the CMHT Admin Team.

**The main roles of the job will be**:

- To manage, recruit, train and lead the administration teams within South Somerset.
- To embed an effective supervision and appraisal structure across the teams.
- To ensure workstreams are effective with sufficient cover

You will be responsible to work with the secretarial staff ensuring that all Departments are providing a high level of administrative support to their clinical teams.

The post holder is required to maintain the Trust’s values and core standards and to lead by example.

Full job description is available, however the main responsibilities are:

- Organisation and management of the appraisals for the secretarial teams, ensuring regular reviews and personal development plans are completed, recorded and progress monitored
- Overseeing all annual leave for the administration team ensuring there is adequate cover at all times
- Liaise with budget managers to monitor expenditure and ensure effective usage of resources within budgetary restraints.
- Liaise with Team Leaders in each Department to discuss progress against annual appraisal targets, staff performance, process problems, departmental issues, to work towards improving the efficiency of the service.
- Organises and leads monthly team meetings with the secretarial teams to develop staff and team working to enhance and challenge practice in the department to work towards improving the efficiency of the service.
- Embed effective supervision structures within the admin team.
- Act as a positive role model and lead by example.
- Ensures that time and resources are managed through effective teamwork, leadership and motivation.
