The successful applicant will support recruitment of staff, service user and carer participants to NIHR portfolio studies in C & I.

This is a great time to join the LCRN funded research team in C & I as they are currently reviewing how they work in their role recruiting participants to studies. Your experience and knowledge will help to shape the team and how we work to ensure C & I is the trust of choice for studies which have a positive impact on those who work in and use the services.

C&I are currently looking for research assistants to join its LCRN funded research team. We are a team of research assistants and associates working closely with clinicians and service users across the trust to recruit to NIHR portfolio studies.

This is an exciting time to join our team and be part of developing and reshaping our ways of working and how we engage staff and service users in research. The team focus is on mental health research and the role will provide an opportunity to gain experience on a variety of different mental health studies, and possibly urgent public health studies.

These posts are advertised for 12 months in the first instance with the possibility of extension dependent on funding. These posts may be suitable as a secondment opportunity.

The team provide a support service to researchers looking to recruit participants to their study. The successful applicant will be allocated to provide support to a number of studies and will work closely with the external researchers to ensure that everything necessary for the study to recruit the number required in the agreed time is achieved. You will work closely with the researchers and their team to ensure that everything that could be done for the study to hit it's target has been done, and provide a good 'research experience' for those who choose to join a study.
