**The role**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Stores and Yard person to work with our prestigious water company based in Dumfries. Reporting to the Manager / Supervisor you will provide an invaluable service to the team by ordering PPE, consumables and stock materials and organising and maintain the stores and yard.

**Responsibilities include**:

- To service EWW Engineers with various equipment.
- Complete all necessary work records, documentation and reports
- Undertake routine stock taking.
- Keeping Yard, workshop and stores in an organised state.
- Loading and unloading pick-up as required.
- Picking up and delivering goods to sites.
- Advise and/or assist other Operatives / personnel where necessary.

**About you**
- Experience of working as a yards/store’s person.
- Able to demonstrate good team working with multi-skilled teams.
- Proven experience in working with others.
- Recognises and exhibits behaviours of the businesses core values.
- Looks for opportunities to help or be of service to other departments.
- Ability to understand and be familiar with Safety regulations/standards in the workplace.
- Good verbal and written skills.
