Job Title: Senior IT Engineer

Type: Fixed Term Contract

Duration: 12 Months (Rolling)

Location: Ipswich, UK

ON-SITE WORKING REQUIRED

Brief:

- Design, implementation, optimization and offices IT infrastructure environments. Through MPLS, Multi-VRF or IPsec VPN connect to global network environments; Include WAN, LAN, VoIP Integrated Exchange, Wireless AC, AP, server, virtual machine system, Firewall,conference system, secure printer etc. equipment.
- Installation, configuration and O&M servers, storage; build virtual machine platform, build window or Linux OS system.
- Strong problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skill of IT environment.
- Routine O&M of door access control & CCTV system; backup, and restoration of industrial computers.
- Handle industrial computer faults on the production line in a timely manner, and sometimes participate in an on-call rotation that includes after hours and weekend IT remote or onsite support.
- Timely local VIP desktop support; Desktop support. Support endpoint security standards (antivirus/hard drive encryption/patching/two-factor authentication).
- Create & deliver IT training; write, update and maintain local IT support documentation
- Manage the asset life cycle process, maintaining hardware inventory, accurate cycle counts, and decommissioning processes.

**Required Skills**:

- 5+ years of relevant working experience in a Wintel environment supporting and global network environment.
- Experience and advanced knowledge of networking, Integration, Virtualization, cloud and SQL, MySQL server.
- Experience and knowledge of MS IIS management; Expert in Linux, Windows Systems Engineering.
- Understanding of industry technology (analytics, monitoring, system scalability, load balancers, web servers.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of routing & switching.
- Understanding of industry technology (analytics, monitoring, system scalability, load balancers, web servers.

Desirable:

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNP)
- MCSE: Server Infrastructure, MTA: Database, MTA: IT Infrastructure
- Experience of writing a disaster recovery plan for a business
