**The Role**
The 1st Line Support Engineer / Service Desk Engineer will provide support at an excellent standard throughout the company. Being the first point person to manage initial triage and assign JIRA tickets, the 1st Line Support Engineer / Service Desk Engineerwill get the opportunity to work across a wide range of hardware and software, troubleshooting issues across all types of devices.
Actively encouraging training and development, this is an excellent opportunity for a 1st Line Support Engineer / Service Desk Engineer looking to take the next step in their career.

**What’s Required?**
Whilst enthusiasm and the ability to provide a highly personable service are key, it is hoped that the successful 1st Line Support Engineer / Service Desk Engineer technical experience and abilities will include:
- Proven experience in a similar role and looking to step into a 2nd line position
- Prior experience with a support ticketing system and ideally with JIRA
- Strong understanding of ITIL
- Solid experience with desktop hardware, including troubleshooting
- An excellent team player and an eagerness to learn
