We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome team as a Housing Concierge working waking nights. Our team look after our customers who have some quite complex backgrounds and support needs.

They can have histories of substance or alcohol dependence, offending histories or have a history of homelessness and nearly all have mental health support needs. Our customers each have their own self-contained room within the project. We help our customers to develop and maintain independent living skills, so that they can successfully move on to their own independent accommodation.

As our Housing Concierge you’ll play a really important role in supporting the smooth running of our services. You’ll ensure the safety and security of our buildings and of our customers, and make sure we get on with our neighbours You’ll be supported to develop the skills to tackle any inappropriate behaviours.

You’ll get involved in lots of different activities which will include monitoring CCTV, regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuring tenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to. As our Supported Housing Concierge, you’ll also provide out of hours cover being the first point of contact for our clients during the evening and at times we’ll also need you to do some general cleaning duties too.

**On the job working hours**

You’ll work waking nights from 7pm to 7am, which includes a 30-minute unpaid break. Regular overtime is also available. You would be expected to work 3 days a weeks plus every other Sunday.

You’re passionate and happy to work with vulnerable people who are being supported to change their lives. You’ll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative.
- When you join as a Housing Concierge, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one._

Although you’ll work nights, we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings. You’ll be working alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements. To us we’re not just a team we’re a ‘work family’.

Our manager Jack has worked at the project for 2 years, having started as a Support Coordinator. He works with a brilliant, easy to get along with team, who are supportive in all aspects of the term and also enjoy having a good laugh.
