**SEN Teaching Assistant - In Special Educational Needs School**

**North London - Mill Hill, Barnet**

**Contract: Long - Term or Perm - 33.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year**

**Salary: £22,587 - £24,693 (pro rata)**

**Start Date: As soon as possible**

We are now currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant for a Special Needs Schools with the Ofsted rating of OUTSTANDING within the Mill Hill, Barnet area

This SEN Teaching Assistant role within the Mill Hill, Barnet area post will require you to work full-time and to be able to start ASAP You will be supporting children with SEN (Autism & Learning Difficulties). There is a car park on site or there is availableparking nearby but certainly a local bus route or train station nearby.

All schools will have a long-lasting relationship with RT Education, therefore you may be offered a contract with the school or a permanent position once you have proven yourself.

**Person Specification**
- Have experience as a SEN Teacher Assistant.
- Need to have a high level of understanding of Autistic Spectrum Needs and SEN.
- Have an enhanced children’s DBS.
- Knowledge of the EYFS.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Have a sensitivity and caring approach towards the children and act accordingly towards each child’s needs.
- Needs to be flexible.
- Ability to work alongside teachers and parents.
