Bristos Skoda are recruiting for a Service Advisor (Apprentice). The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with one of the world’s most prestigious and technologically advanced car manufacturers.

As a Service Advisor (Apprentice), you will need to be organised, professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and well presented. The working environment can be quite competitive and demanding as the focus is always on maximising every opportunity.

Duties in Apprentice Service Advisor may vary but you will typically include:
To be the first line of communication - meeting and greeting customers and visitors
To receive all incoming telephone calls for the dealership in accordance with company policy.

To deal with customer requirements in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction.

To ensure highest standards of personal appearance and housekeeping
To promote excellent customer and public relations.

Gathering customer data to enable you to keep them updated of promotions

Important Information:

- Qualification requirements for the Marriott Motor Group include Maths & English and Science GCSE grade A-C or equivalent grade 9 - 4.

You will need to demonstrate:

- Knowledge of the Marriott Motor Group
- Confidence and an outgoing personality
- A smart and professional appearance and manner
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good level of numeracy
- Ability to negotiate
- Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships
- Competent IT skills - both computers and other hardware such as tablets, smart phones etc.
- An interest in vehicles and their new technologies
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge to customers
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own caseload of work
- Excellent work ethic
- A full driving licence is essential

Future Prospects: Apprentices have the potential to work their way into a full time, permanent role.

Training to be provided: Apprentices will receive on the job training and visits from Development Coaches every 4-6 weeks. It is also expected that 4-5 hours are spent studying in their own time.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £6,40 per hour, however Marriott Motor Group will pay an enhanced rate of £6.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies
