**Location**: Stoke (supporting nationally)

**Job type**: Permanent Full Time Contract - 40 hours per week.

**Salary**: Between £25,028.60 - £27,114.31

**Reporting to**: Operations Director and Operations Manager

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
The purpose of the operation support manager is to support the operations management teams (on a national level) and to take responsibility for manage your area of responsibility.
- Manage and motivate your team and promote a culture of teamwork and professionalism by acting as a tole model and always behaving in line with our company values.
- Set goals and objectives for you areas of responsibility.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times and in the instance of dropped hours, you must be willing to cover shifts (if you exceed your weekly hours you will be given TOIL).
- Manage absence and conduct including disciplinaries and grievances including return to work meetings, appraisals etc.
- Conduct recruitment activities including interviews.
- Ensure that all aspects of the required security services are delivered to the clients satisfaction and in accordance with the Contract.
- Complete assignment instructions, risk assessments and site assessments.
- Implement and monitor KPIs and present to the operations director on a quarterly basis.
- Ensure your teams are sufficiently trained and licensed and schedule relevant training as necessary.
- Develop and maintain professional client relationships by conducting regular meetings, responding appropriately to customer requests and concerns.
- Identify and implement corrective action in any service delivery failings.
- Understand and have a good working knowledge of the Integrated Management System all relevant standards and undertake responsibility for internal and external audits.
- Adhere to and work in line with the processes and procedures.

**Applicants must have / be**:

- Experience within the security industry.
- Flexible and reliable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
- Smart, professional and approachable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal, written and listening.
- A team player with a positive, solution focused approach.
- Enthusiastic and must enjoy working with people.
- Able to communicate at all levels and with people whose first language is not English.
- Be able to deal with situations which may be stressful, demanding, and challenging.
- A valid SIA (Door Supervision or Security) licence preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- Willing to travel.

**Pre-Employment Screening & Vetting**:
Start - following satisfactory interview, background checks and DBS.

Applicants must be able to provide a minimum of 10 years checkable employment / unemployment / educational history, with no gaps greater than 30 days.

This is required for Screening and Vetting as per the current BS 7858.
