Starting your career with Waterman Aspen as a Highways Development Control Engineer will see you as a key member of the Traffic and Highways team with an input over your CPD and career development. The commitment we can make to you in your career over thelong term will include:

- In the role you will be a responsible for the technical vetting and deliver of S278 / S38 works and general Highways Development Control responsibilities e.g.
- Section 106 highways negotiations
- Section 278 / 38 highways works and adoption schemes
- Interpret Transport Assessment data and provide advice on mitigation schemes and / or contributions under S106 by developers
- Represent the highways authority at planning committees and advise local members, developers, the planning authority and the general public on highways development related planning matters
