Dog Groomer

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling of various breeds of dogs
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
- Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Assist in managing appointments and schedules to optimise workflow within the grooming area.
- Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and products to enhance service offerings.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in pet grooming and animal care is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary care is an advantage but not essential.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
