This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative biotech company that are looking to improve drug discovery through the development of an AI platform. They are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in line with their expansion who will be joiningtheir interdisciplinary team based in Cardiff.
**What you’ll be doing?**
You’ll be responsible for developing novel machine-learning algorithms using intricate, datasets for drug discovery. You’ll look at developing ML models used to drive the business forward using a mix of techniques from statistical analysis through to state-of-the-arttechniques to answer their questions. You will also collaborate with their lab and engineering teams to integrate models into production pipelines and systems.
**What experience you’ll need to apply?**:

- MSc/PhD in a related field.
- Strong programming skills with Python, R or Julia.
- Experience working with TensorFlow and PyTorch for Deep Learning.
- Ideally a background in a scientific field, with knowledge of drug discovery or protein structures.
- Experience researching and developing ML models with things like Transformers, LTSM etc.
- Communication skills will be key as you’ll be working across cross functional teams as well as presenting findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
