French Speaking Senior Accountant

Our client, a Global Tech firm is looking for a French Speaking Senior Accountant to join their growing business. The business specialises in Tech which operate across multiple platforms and on an international basis. Through an acquisition they are nowlooking to branch out and have a number of projects You will sit within the finance function where you will be producing management accounts alongside supporting ongoing financial projects.
The role will be delivering the accounts for newly acquired business which is the most unique entity in the group. As a French Speaking Senior Accountant you will have a duties of business partnering with internal departments, Forecasting and Budgeting.
- Full oversight of entity month end close activities and reporting.
- Works closely & in partnership with International US GAAP accounting shared services centre as well as US Headquarters to ensure timely and accurate entity close.
- Completes monthly P&L and balance sheet analytical review with commentary, trend analysis on revenue & close review with FP&A & other key stakeholders.
- Researches and prepares technical accounting position papers on local accounting issues (US GAAP & Local GAAP) as well as impacts to entity of new/changes to accounting standards.
- Ensures implementation of internal controls, facilitates SOx Compliance, including key & non key control report validation.
- Owns and acts as POC for annual statutory audit with external auditors & provides support as required to support regular internal audits.
- Prepares statutory bridge reconciliation from US GAAP to local GAAP on Oracle secondary ledger.
- Owns transfer pricing process for entity, parterns with Corporate Tax team to ensure appropriate agreements in place, highlights & assesses local business changes that may impact current structure & ensuring timely calculation and settlement.
- Drives completion & filings of Indirect Tax/VAT Returns, liaising with external advisors and internal teams where necessary.
- Oversight of Treasury management, FX management & cashflow forecasting.
- You will be a bale to demonstrate your technical accounting skillset including IFRS knowledge and US GAAP.
