**Job Summary**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated, multi-skilled and valued team at Ridgemede Care Ltd, to help support the needs of our residents. Health Care Assistants support in promoting the dignity, independence and well-being of our residents in accordance with current best practice, agreed standards, and legislative requirements, under the direction of the Registered Manager.

**Job Type / Category**

As a Health care assistant at Ridgemede Care Ltd you will provide individual care, as required by each resident. You will be expected to meet the residents personal needs, whilst ensuring that each person's dignity and individuality is upheld and their independence, safety, and choice is encouraged at all times.

On your satisfactory probation period, we can offer guaranteed permanent contracted hours: Full time & part time: Weekdays/weekends day/evening shifts only available.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

Previous Job Experience /Skills
- Providing supportive care to our residents to include personal care
- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of personal care
- Assisting residents with their physical and emotional requirements
- Help promote the friendly, caring environment to our residents, their family, and friends
- To work as part of a flexible, dedicated and established team
- Record relevant activities within individual Care Plans

Qualification

**Benefits**

- Pay rate from £8.00 -£10.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications required and shift of enhancement.
- Enhancement paid weekend hours available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: £8.00-£10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
