**Description**

This is an opportunity for a marketing enthusiast who is looking to build their skills and career in a rewarding environment.

Primary responsibilities:

- Assist in the delivery of a yearly marketing plan
- Writing, collating and uploading editorial content to our website
- Assist in the design, layout and proofreading of event directories
- Develop brand awareness and build social media audiences
- Research and collate data for media partners
- Assist with social media campaigns
- Provide fact-checking, copy-editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of mailers and other promotional materials

Reporting into the Editorial & Marketing Coordinator, the day-to-day duties will typically include:

- Uploading editorial and social content
- Sourcing material
- Assisting media campaigns
- Proofing marketing data
- Supporting sales campaigns
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Software
- Strong communication and IT fluency
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Skill in prioritising and triaging obligations
- Attention to detail

The skills you need to excel in this position include:

- Creative, with the ability to design visual elements for digital platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, copywriting skills are a bonus
- Understanding of social media channels and marketing
- A keen sense of team play and cooperative effort
- Excellent time management and organisation
- Knowledge of SEO beneficial, but not required
