**Role:Senior Research Applications Officer**

**Location: Surrey - Hybrid**

**Duration: Interim (6 months minimum)**

**Salary: £20 - £25 per hour depending on experience**

Sellick Partnership are recruiting for an experienced Senior Research Applications Officer for a public sector organisation based in Surrey for a temporary assignment for approximately 6 months.

**The Senior Research Applications Officer will be responsible for**:

- Support researchers through the internal bid and approval processes through to submission of the sponsor's grant forms, including coordinating with R&I teams as well as providing timely response to enquiries in relation to pre-awarded grants
- Perform and advise on the calculation of project costs using fEC methodology, considering personnel, estates and indirect costs within the sponsor eligibility guidelines
- Coordinate, complete, and record due diligence and risk assessment activities to mitigate risks and achieve high standard of compliance with legislation and funder requirements
- Ensure accurate completion of the organisation's internal costing documents and maintain accurate records through the relevant internal databases at each stage and prior to transition to R&I Finance Post-Awards and RIS Legal Contracts
- Communicate with the relevant offices prior to acceptance of any significant change in the awards
- Experience of working in the public sector is essential
- A minimum of 2 years' costing experience
- Experience of using fEC methodology.
