**Daily Duties of a Trainee Sales Assistant**

**1. Greeting and Engaging Customers**
- **Welcome customers with enthusiasm**: Greet customers as they enter, especially those attending a special promotional event, brand activation, or pop-up kiosk.
- **Assess customer needs**: Engage with customers to understand their preferences and inform them about any ongoing promotions, events, or product launches.

**2. Promoting Sales and Special Offers**
- **Highlight promotions and events**: Actively promote any ongoing sales, special offers, or discounts tied to events. Encourage customers to take advantage of these limited-time deals.
- **Product recommendations**: Suggest relevant products as part of the promotion or event, ensuring customers are aware of the special offers available.

**3. Assisting with Sales and Transactions**
- **Guide purchase decisions**: Provide support in helping customers select the right products, ensuring they’re making the most of the current promotions or event-based discounts.
- **Process transactions**: Use the point-of-sale (POS) system to handle sales transactions, returns, or exchanges quickly and accurately during high-traffic promotional periods.

**4. Driving Event-Specific Sales**
- **Focus on sales targets**: Work towards hitting sales targets specific to the promotion or event. Use your product knowledge and enthusiasm to boost customer engagement and drive sales.
- **Upsell and cross-sell**: Take advantage of promotional opportunities to suggest additional items or upgrades that complement the customer’s purchase.

**5. Maintaining Presentation and Stock for Events**
- **Keep promotional displays fresh**: Ensure that promotional displays, event setups, or pop-up kiosks are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing throughout the day.
- **Replenish stock**: Regularly check product levels in event areas or promotional displays, making sure everything is well-stocked and ready for the next customer.

**6. Managing Customer Queries for Promotions**
- **Provide event and promotion details**: Be knowledgeable about the specifics of ongoing promotions, such as dates, discounts, and any event-related benefits, so you can effectively answer customer questions.
- **Resolve customer concerns**: Address any issues related to promotions or products, ensuring the customer leaves satisfied and confident in their purchases.

**7. Event Collaboration and Team Support**
- **Assist with event setup**: Work with your team to organize and execute promotional sales events, brand activations, or pop-up kiosks. This might involve arranging product displays, setting up interactive demos, or preparing promotional materials.
- **Support your team**: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations during events, managing customer flow and ensuring every customer is given attention.

**8. Learning and Development**
- **Stay informed on upcoming events and promotions**: Regularly update yourself on new products, promotional strategies, and upcoming brand activations. Use this knowledge to stay ahead and better assist customers.
- **Seek feedback and improvement**: Actively ask for feedback from your team or managers to improve your performance, especially during high-traffic events.

**9. Wrap UP**
- **Event wrap-up**: Help with clearing up and organizing after a promotional event. Ensure that all event materials are properly stored or disposed of, and that displays are tidied up.
- **Prepare for future promotions**: Assist in the preparation for any upcoming promotional events, ensuring everything is ready to go for the next big occasion.
