**In 2020 LCP launched our Heath Analytics practice, providing analytical and research services for organisations across the life sciences and healthcare industries. Our team brings together clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists, health economists and health data scientists alongside our established actuarial, analytics and technology teams to deliver new solutions to the fundamental challenges in health.**
Our team’s mission is to help move health systems from importers of illness to exporters of health and to support our clients to deliver value to patients. We have already developed a track record for leading approaches to real world evidence generation, health economic modelling and innovative reimbursement design.
We have been growing the team quickly in response to the demand we are seeing for the service offerings we have developed and are now looking for an Evidence Synthesis specialist to join our team of experts and strengthen our capabilities in this area.
You will play a key role in the design, execution, and analysis of systematic literature reviews (SLRs) and meta-analyses, leading projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality SLRs.

**What do we do?**
LCP’s Health Analytics team works across the healthcare and life sciences markets, combining health expertise with innovative approaches from our work in other sectors to tackle leading health issues. Examples of the types of projects that we undertake for our clients include:
- Literature reviews (systematic and targeted) as standalone projects or within the context of broader work
- Manuscript writing
- Real world evidence studies using electronic healthcare records, registries, biobanks and databases
- Health economic modelling
- Design and simulation of reimbursement models including outcome-based agreements
- Advanced study designs including external comparator arms
- Forecasting disease burden, healthcare demand and cost
- Innovative approaches to identifying and quantifying unmet need and inequalities
**What will you be doing?**
As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in LCP’s Health Analytics team you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, covering both client and non-client work.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Demonstrate a very high level of expertise in evidence synthesis methods
- Lead and contribute to all stages of literature review projects including:
- Proposal development and designing search strategies in various databases
- Protocol development
- Running searches
- Screening for relevant studies
- Data extraction and conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses to synthesise evidence
- Quality control
- Report writing
- Managing client projects, with support from a Principal or Partner
- Oversee and review the work of other members of the team and support their development, including:
- Contribution to team training
- Contribution to the development of internal resources, tools and processes
- Contributing to developing innovative technology and advanced methods capabilities in this space (e.g. using NLP and machine learning)
- People responsibilities including the line management and development of junior members of the team
- Demonstrate and develop your expertise by contributing to thought leadership activities
**What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?**
- A very strong grounding in relevant methods with demonstrated experience in conceptualising and delivering previous studies and projects
- Experience working on HTA submissions is desirable
- Experience in methods for indirect comparison or external comparator arms (e.g. NMA, MAIC and similar methods) is desirable
- You should enjoy working as part of a growing dynamic team. You should be comfortable leading on day-to-day project activities and managing the workload of junior members of staff.
- Experience in business development activities, including proposal writing and pitch presentations, is desirable
- You are expected to demonstrate initiative in every aspect of your work and be creative in developing original solutions to problems
- Excellent communication skills alongside good presentation skills with the ability to explain complex issues to others
- Excellent report writing skills
- You are expected to have excellent Microsoft Office skills and be highly competent in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Programming experience in R or Python is desirable
- You are expected to be able to manage your work and coordinate the work of multi-disciplinary teams with ease
