We are currently looking for an organised and motivated Purchase Ledger to support our growth.

**Role Responsibilities - Accounts Assistant**:
- Perform cash reconciliations across multiple banks, jurisdictions, currencies, merchants and payment providers
- Reconcile intercompany purchase, sales and general ledger accounts and arrange monthly settlement
- Investigate reconciling items, post and allocate reconciling items
- Reconcile staff expense claims and credit card statements to receipts
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances are justified, identifying any problems and recommending process improvements
- Ensure control / suspense accounts are regularly reviewed and cleared
- Support the annual financial statement audit process
- Assist with testing and implementation of new matching software
- Provide cover for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams during periods of annual leave
- Hours of work are 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch
**Role Requirements - Accounts Assistant**:
- Highly numerate
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Familiar with Finance / ERP systems (knowledge of Netsuite highly desirable)
- Prior experience of performing reconciliations in a multi-currency environment
- Experience working with high volumes of transactions and large data sets
- Ideally holds or is studying towards an accounting qualification (e.g. AAT, CIMA etc)
- Highly organised, meticulous and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
