Hierarchy Business Solutions Limited T/A Hierarchy support services is a combined Housing and community support service which provides innovative and person-centred support needs for young adults with physical/learning disabilities to live as independently as possible within their own home and in the community in west Lothian.

**Specific requirements for the sessional support worker for this post**

**Required of Support Worker**
- A commitment to delivering high quality care
- Strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills
- An ability to work independently in the community and as part of a team
- A relevant qualification (SVQ2), this is not essential as training will be given
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.

**Responsibilities of Support Worker**
- A real understanding and compassion will enable these vulnerable groups to develop their interests and assist with everyday living including some personal care
- health needs whilst actively encouraging independence.
- Main duties will ensure their health and well-being are a priority and that they are support emotionally day-to-day which may involve, assisting with household chores
- establishing in-house and out
- door activities
- providing general emotional support.
- Support worker is responsible to report to care manager
