**Current Vacancy - Assistant Production Scheduler**
- **1 permanent full-time position, Shepshed UK**_

**We are looking for an individual to join us as an Assistant Production Scheduler**

They should demonstrate good numeracy accuracy and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a particular emphasis on MS Excel to support our well-established and leading manufacturing company based in Shepshed

Previous experience working within a similar role would be great, however, it is not essential as additional training & support will be provided.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate & develop excellent administrative, organizational & time-management skills.

You will support 2 others with the data input, to develop and maintain our capacity plan to maximize the production utilization whilst minimizing costs.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Support the development & then maintenance of both the production schedule and material requirement by communicating with all internal departments and suppliers.
- In conjunction with the rest of the team calculate accurate order completion dates using the company’s delivery and manufacture milestones.
- To assist in conducting stock takes and processing stock counts
- Working closely with the sales and production team to priorities urgent orders & input onto the capacity plan.
- You will have a hands on approach & you will definitely be willing to develop a great knowledge of production operations, in order to make efficient use of our labour, materials, product lead time to deliver our customer requirements.
