Mindsmatter Deputy Team Leader

This is an exciting opportunity for an appropriately qualified and experienced practitioner to develop leadership skills as a Deputy Team Lead within the Mindsmatter Leadership Team. The role, which is a 1.0 WTE job (may consider 30hr week or working over four days), offers the opportunity to gain considerable experience in service development, managerial, and additional supervisory skills. You will join a friendly and supportive clinical and managerial leadership team that also includes a CBT lead, Counselling lead, PWP lead, consultant clinical lead, Strategic manager/training academy leads and Team Leads.
We are looking for applicants with substantial experience of working within the field of mental health and ideally but not necessary, some knowledge and experience of working within an IAPT service - (training will provided for any member of staff who joins us and hasn’t had previous IAPT experience), working with complex client presentations, and providing formal clinical supervision / mentorship to qualified clinical staff.
You will have a proven track record of delivering high quality interventions and or therapy and have excellent interpersonal qualities; time management skills; an ability to work autonomously and in a team; and an enthusiasm for working in an ever-developing IAPT environment.
You will work alongside the clinical and managerial leadership team, providing additional support to Team Leads and Clinicians alike within the respective teams. The post-holder will need to be available to work full-time Monday-Friday (four day week can be considered).
You will receive regular managerial supervision and support and join other senior clinicians within the service
You will be required to deliver high quality service outcomes against robust performance measures in addition to having excellent interpersonal qualities; time management skills; an ability to work autonomously; and an enthusiasm for working in an ever-developing IAPT environment.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
