Prospect Training Services (PTS) has a contract basis vacancy for a lively, energetic and inspirational tutor to deliver Maths skills to support adults in building their numeracy knowledge.

As an experienced and qualified professional Tutor you will work with adults participants to progress them to achievement of their Maths courses. Your ability to contextualise maths in a workplace setting will be the key to your success. Applicants should as a minimum possess a teaching qualification (L3 CTLLS or above) and hold a Level 2/GCSE qualification in English and Mathematics. Assessor qualifications would be desirable plus experience of and empathy for working with our young people. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate accomplished classroom management. Your ability to work as part of a small team and deliver your curriculum and organise your contract administration will set you apart from the rest.

**Specification**
- Good general level of education (Teaching qualification, ideally hold a Level 2 qualification in Mathematics and English or equivalent)
- Excellent delivery and communication skills
- Good coordination and organisational skills
- Demonstrable track record of student achievement
- Innovative, fast thinking and versatile
- Self-motivated, able to work to performance targets and KPIs
- Excellent time management
- Good general level of ICT skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience of working with E3 - L2 range of students

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year, pro rata
