Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a **Trainee** **Civils Supervisor** to join the business. This position will be field based in the **Chester** area.

**About the role**

As a Trainee Civil Supervisor, you will learn how to be responsible for the control of your designated Project or assigned tasks as well as ensuring that all documentation, services and processes are completed in line with the needs of the business.

**Your responsibilities will also include**:

- Overall supervision of a number of sub-contracting site crews carrying out civils and cabling works on underground Telecommunication networks
- Compliance with road works signing, lighting and guarding
- Responsible for all site works, methodology and network build approach
- Construction of Under chambers and the erection of Communication street-side cabinets
- Installation of telecommunication fibre cables and associated works
- Complete stock checks when required
- Responsible for site inspections at the start and the end of the day
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures and service deterioration trends
- Supervision of day to day project delivery within a geographical area, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, street works, supplier performance and improvement

**Experience**:

- Telecoms or Utilities experience
- Supervisor experience, desired but not essential as full training will be provided
- Knowledge of the BT network, desirable
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditations, desirable
- Full UK drivers license, essential
