Multi-Skilled Joiner

Location: Merseyside

**Salary**: £33,000 + package

Opportunity for immediate temporary to permanent work**

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a social housing contractor. Working for a respected contractor, you will be carrying out responsive repairs and void property works for a key social housing client. If you are a proactive and reliable trades person with a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Undertake a variety of joinery tasks including doors, windows, skirting boards, kitchens, and bathroom work.
- Assist where necessary with first fix plumbing and plastering.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance in occupied and empty properties.
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard, in line with client specifications and safety regulations and within given timescales.
- Deliver excellent customer care when interacting with tenants and office-based staff, ensuring mínimal disruption and clear communication throughout the job.
- Work collaboratively with other trades, stakeholders, and clients to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Diagnose and fix issues swiftly and efficiently to provide a timely service to tenants.
- Complete all paperwork and documentation as required for compliance.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in joinery, with a focus on social housing repairs and void work.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in a core trade or equivalent.
- Multi-skilled with the ability to carry out minor plastering, tiling, and plumbing works is advantageous.
- Strong customer care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants, colleagues, and clients.
- Experience working within a team and maintaining good working relationships with other trades and office staff.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- CSCS card is preferred but not essential.

Salary & Benefits:

- £33,000 annual salary
- Company van and fuel card provided
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Pension scheme
