**Reporting Analyst - Reinsurance Corporate Environment - Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, Reinsurance or similar Required - (Training in Reinsurance and internal processes & procedures will be provided) - City of London
- Hybrid Working - 2 Days Office / 3 Days WFH - Salary to £40,000 + Bonus + Good Benefits.
This successful & fast growing corporate Insurance company enjoys an excellent work culture with a strong family feel and are located in the City of London, within easy reach of Fenchurch Street or London Bridge. They offer Agile working so once settled inthe role you can expect to work from home the majority of the working week (35 Hours - Monday to Friday).
A stimulating environment, the Reporting Analyst role is idealfor MI, Data or Reporting Analysts.
**As a Reporting Analyst you will be able to demonstrate good data analysis & reporting skills and enjoy working effectively as part of a team.
The work will include liaising with the company's corporate clients to gather information for their pool/captive programs including a portfolio of the largest and most important clients.
Responsible for report creation and execution of processes, the Reporting Analyst ensures that deadlines and expectations are met in line with client agreements, internal processes and network commitments including management of their own portfolio of clients.
The Reporting Analyst also handles client questions in a timely and effective manner, escalating when necessary.
Other responsibilities include analysing trends and performance of each pool programme, summarising the explanations for variances and trends, & on occasion participating in the presentation of results to clients.
Identifying any issues that may prevent deadlines being met and assist in the development of solutions to reduce the impact of these and fix them for the future, including identifying training needs.
Coordinating cessions and claim recoveries for captive clients and/or the refund process including deficit offsets and settlement of international and local dividends for pooling clients
Participating in the future development of the reporting system, internal control processes and clients reports as the company seeks to develop and improve service delivery, including supporting the IT function on the project management of ongoing system improvementsand change requests.
Actively support the simplification and standardisation of reporting and analysis process to improve the timeliness and quality of reports.
Be accountable for data uploading and editing, ensuring accuracy of data entered and that data is maintained efficiently, capturing and communicating all relevant changes on an ongoing basis.
Managing internal projects related to process improvement and system enhancement using project management tools.
**Ideal Background & Experience**:
- Circa 3+ years experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, MI Analyst or similar
- Have experience working within Insurance, Reinsurance, Financial Services, Banking or similar environments
- Enjoy strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly summarise and distill key components of data.
- The ability to work effectively, display empathy and influence others beyond direct control, across organisational levels, countries and cultures.
- A proven self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and display a high level of flexibility
- Excellent IT proficiency with advanced Excel skills, additional knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is beneficial.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills - additional language skills would be great
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
