**DevOps Engineer - AWS - Global SaaS Company - 100% Remote - Up to £80,000 + excellent benefits**
**Overview**:
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work with a well-established, rapidly growing Software-as-a-Service company that has a number for FTSE 100 clients We are looking for DevOps Engineer who has knowledge in software development lifecycle and DevOps lifecycle.
**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the DevOps and Infrastructure Manager to deliver projects in a timely manner
- Ensuring best practice security principles are implemented
- Responsible for the automating and/or scripting of our development and production cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge on how to configure the infrastructure to cope with demand while still delivering maximum resilience
- Assisting with cloud computing models and design patterns, including Serverless concepts, Platform as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service
- Assisting with the configuration of cloud networking for both public and private VPC's in AWS
- Agile principles with a strong focus on Scrum framework and the principles of Kanban
**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Route53, Elasticache etc)
- Infrastructure as Code and Infrastructure Automation (or similar) - AWS Cloud Development Kit
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals - Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, WLAN and LAN
- Containerisation/Docker experience
- Linux Administration
- Scripting experience (Bash, Javascript, Typescript, Python)
- Ability to quickly learn and become skilled on new technologies
**Desirable**:

- AWS Lambda
- Terraform or CloudFormation
- Gradle
- Jenkins, Grafana, Prometheus
- Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant computer degree
