**Job Summary**
Archipelago Baker are looking for part-time members of staff to sell our homemade bread, make coffee (experience is very useful), serve cakes/pastries, serve lunch options and daily specials, use the till, clearing tables and washing up, cleaning duties, setting up the bakeryin the morning and doing the close at the end of the day.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers as they enter the restaurant
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations
- Become familiar with the breads we sell and able to give recommendations to customers depending on their preference
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Process payments and operate the cash register
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the front-end area and in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Must be friendly and smiley and have very good customer service.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in food preparation or hospitality is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous
- Experience of coffee making and working in a cafe would be very useful

We are a small team so personality is key to joining the team. Am only looking for people that are kind, positive, ability to get stuck in and help out when needed, hard-working, flexible in terms of hours and days they can work and trustworthy. **Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 16 per week
