Full time - Permanent - 40hrs per week

Including Company vehicle and fuel card plus overtime/callout premiums

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team here at Mears as a General Operative. Based in Darlington. We are offering a salary of up to £25,500 plus great company benefits which include fun days paid for by the company, discounts on high street shopping and online retailers, health insurance and much more

You will primarily be a General Operative / Handy person responsible for DIY. This will include key safes, picking safety gates, cleaning and general DIY around our properties.

What the role Involves
- Responsible for DIY around properties
- Key safes, picking safety gates, cleaning
- Develop treatment plans and prevention methods
- Provide service user with safety warnings
- Routine checks in accordance with health & safety regulations including risks assessments & maintain statutory records

About you
- Knowledge of DIY
- Team player
- Knowledge and understanding of using hand tools
- Full UK driving license
