Drivers are a critical part of our business and are recognized and rewarded for the quality of their work they perform every day and night.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Completing daily vehicle checks in line with the company procedure to ensure they are road worthy
- Reporting vehicle defects immediately in line with company procedure
- Assisting with loading and unloading company vehicles
- Reporting any customer complaints to the Transport team
- Complying with all current EU road transport regulations
- Ensuring the freight is secure for transit on the vehicle and not overloaded by weight or capacity
- Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and presentable
- Location Pontefract

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Holds a valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence
- Holds a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
- Holds a Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Commercial driving experience
- Reporting customer complaints and vehicle defects in line with company procedure
