Residential Support Worker

Are you a Children's Residential Support Worker with experience working in a children's home who present challenging behaviours or learning difficulties and disabilities?
If so, read on We are recruiting for Residential Support Worker for children based in Preston Our client is a well-established organisation with successfully running homes across Lancashire.
The main purpose of your job would be to undertake direct work with young people living in a 4 bedded home which aims to enable them to gain the confidence and skills to live independently as well as supporting them practically and emotionally in their day-to-day lives.
If you have previous experience as a children's therapeutic practitioner, children and young people support worker, residential support worker or outreach worker please get in touch This being said, experience is not absolutely essential if you are able to demonstrate passion and willingness to learn. Ideally you will hold a full UK driver's license and a Level 3 NVQ qualification, although both are not essential.
Applicants that do not hold a Level 3 qualification will be considered and required to work towards this qualification and provided with training & support.
The roles are full time minimum of 36.5 hours per week on a 2 in 4 off rolling rota basis including weekend and evenings.
Salary on offer is £21,645 with additional £55 per sleep plus excellent benefits available such as a £1000 bonus
