Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide information about rental options, rates, and policies
- Process rental agreements and collect necessary documentation
- Coordinate vehicle pick-up and drop-off schedules
- Maintain accurate records of rental transactions and customer interactions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Basic accounting administration including raising invoices, chasing payments, reconciling receipts, etc.
- General back office administrative tasks as required
- You may also be required to occasionally drive vehicles within the Berkshire area

Qualifications:

- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Multi-tasking and good organisation skills to manage and prioritise your own workload
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively deal with customers and suppliers
- Eye for detail to ensure accuracy and to observe errors
- Good written and verbal English
- Minimum of two years administration/office/customer service experience
- Ideally familiar using Quickbooks and ProHire Booking System
- Full driving licence held for a minimum of two years. No more than 3 points on licence and no disqualifications within the last 5 years. Our insurance stipulates drivers must also be over 25 years old.

We are an established, independent self drive vehicle hire specialist covering Reading, Newbury and the wider Thames Valley. This varied and interesting role is based within our Caversham office, reporting to the business owner. The hours of this role are 12.00 - 17.30 Monday to Friday and alternative Saturday mornings 0800 - 1200.
