Pattern Maker

£28,000, Rotherham Sheffield Boundary, Permanent position, day shifts, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, pension, free car parking, on site canteen facilities, uniform and premium paid overtime.

Due to an increase in orders we are proud to be seeking an experienced Pattern Maker based within a state of the art modern manufacturing facility on the Sheffield Rotherham boundary to join their team on a full time permanent basis. As a Pattern Maker you will be reporting into the Supervisor and will be responsible for working as part of a small close knit team in a prestige environment. Day to day duties will include:
Assembling and preparing patterns for the ceramic mould department.
Operating 3D sand printing machine.
Cleaning and preparing products for casting 3D sand printed moulds.
Ensuring all patterns have been measured by the CMM department prior to assembly.
Transferring tool paths to CNC machines in the Pattern shop and manufacturing parts.
Raising NCR's when required.
Ensure equipment is calibrated prior to use.

**As a Pattern Maker you will be required to**:
Work to be methodically and comprehensively.
Adhere to Company written practice and procedures.
Ensure reports are accurate, detailed and contain the appropriate information.
Keep up to date with technical developments.
Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard.

This role would suit someone with experience working as a Pattern Maker or Pattern Engineer within a manufacturing, production, castings or engineering environment.
