**Academic Mentor** - **Immediate start**: - **Part time, 4 days a week**: - **Competitive rates of pay**: - **'Outstanding' Secondary School**: - **CPD and career progression can be provided**: - **Perfect role for a Science Graduate or experienced Science Teacher** Immediate start for an Academic Mentor at an 'Outstanding' mixed Secondary School in South London. The school are seeking a confident, knowledgeable and motivated Academic Mentor to tutor Science for Secondary school pupils. Working hours for this Academic Mentor post will be 8am to 4pm, Mondays to Thursdays. Experience of providing support as an Academic Mentor in a Secondary school is preferred but not essential. Science Graduates and experienced Academic Mentors, as well as Science Teachers can be considered for this post. The rates of pay for this Academic Mentor position will be between £120 and £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. **The School** The school is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, as of 2016. Pupils regularly participate in after-school enrichment classes, activity days and educational visits. **Requirements**: Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Academic Mentor or overseas trained Academic Mentor.
