Stevenage Borough Council require a motivated individual who is able to work on their own initiative as well as be part of our busy Repairs and Voids Team

About you
- You will have a full manual UK driving licence
- You will have some previous experience of working as a Driver/Labourer
- You will enjoy working as part of a team, be prepared to work flexibly and have the ability to communicate and understand written and verbal instructions.
- You will have a good understanding of Health and Safety regulations

About the role
- To deliver materials to site as required.
- To clear sites, leave tidy and dispose of all rubbish.
- To assist tradespeople in ladder work for gutter and roof repairs and for the repairing of fences.
- As part of the Operative Team, covering when staff are absent and working as a rota, to ensure adequate cover during the working week and at weekends
