Customs Product Manager

You will assist with the development of the existing Customs Department by increasing efficiency and compliance of their Customs Product. It involves implementation of new commercial opportunities in the customs department, whilst working alongside and supportingthe Customs Team and IT Department for integration with client systems.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Assist with Leading and motivating the customs team and providing customs expertise.
- Ensure clients are satisfied with service level & feedback of the Customs solutions provided.
- Providing practical support in the preparation to client to enable solution development.
- Customer compliance management and profit and loss responsibility.
- Assisting in other functions within Customs / Operations on a project basis, when required.
- Proposing to management corrective plans where necessary.
- Procuring, calculating and submitting customs solutions efficiently and following up
- Assisting in Customer documentation testing where applicable.
- Developing the business, goals and objectives in line with the company's strategy.
- Liaising closely with IT Department / Sales Director and Directors

**Essential requirements**:

- Customs clearance experience together with a broad understanding of HMRC Customs Import/Export procedures and practices is essential.
- Team management experience along with strong IT skills and understanding.
- Good commercial experience and awareness with a strong customer focus
- Excellent organisation and communication skills and capable of working at a fast pace.
- Professional and focused approach with a high level to attention and detail.
