**Job Description** We are looking for a qualified accountant with several years post qualified experience to join the Group Finance Planning and Analysis (FPA) team. This is a full-time post reporting direct to the Head of Group FPA, and is suited to someone with previousBusiness Partnering experience, with the ability to dig deep into the detail whilst communicating the big picture to support and influence Executives in decision making. A keen mind to challenge data integrity and process appropriateness is critical.

The Group FPA team is a small, fast-paced, dynamic department covering strategic, budgeting and forecasting processes as well as Business Partnering across the Group. We are looking to expand the team to drive further partnering with the Directors of thecentral functions, develop and automate our systems to provide actionable analytics and improve our Return on Investment processes.

**Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Undertake a Business Partnering role for the central head office function, building influential working relationships with key contacts across the wider business to make comprehensive recommendations and understand the business needs, challenge activityand improve overall business performance
- Manage the Group budgeting and forecasting processes, developing strong relationships with the operational FPA community to ensure all deadlines met and consistency of data maintained
- Interface with and develop the Group’s Return on Investment review process, to ensure the company is making the correct investment decisions
- Key corporate reporting, including executive, board and shareholder decks and dashboards

**Qualifications**:

- Several years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) preferably with previous Business Partnering experience.
- Able to know the detail yet effectively communicate the big picture to a broad spectrum of people.
- A “roll up sleeves and get stuck into things” attitude.
- The ability to confidently engage and influence stakeholders across the organisation, including Functional Directors.
- Able to critically challenge data quality and use insightful analysis to ensure real value-add to the business.
- FPA system experience an advantage.
