**Salary**:£29,500 per annum plus staff benefits.
**Contract**:Full time, permanent. The general working pattern/shift is 11am-8pm, five days per week. However the role does require flexibility to meet business demands.
Would you like to work within one of the North West’s most exciting cultural venues? The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen and we are looking for a talented dynamic hands on Sous Chef to join our established kitchen team at The Lowry. You will help menu planning, stock management, food preparation and service for all Hospitality areas of The Lowry,with a focus on pre-theatre dining in our 120-seater Pier Eight Restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring a constant high standard of quality and customer experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential and applicants should possess an advanced Food Hygiene Certificate. You will have knowledge of stock procurement, control and storage. You should have experience of supervising and developing teamsand individuals, with the ability to deputise in the Head Chef’s absence.
