**SEN 1:1 Nursery Practitioner**

**Based in Baby Room**

**24 hours per week**

**Permanent, All year round**

**8am-6pm Tuesday-Thursday**

**£10 per hour**

**Play Away West End **are looking for a SEN 1:1 Nursery Practitioner to join the team within the Baby Room. This role will be to support a child with SEN in the nursery setting, to help promote their individual development. We are looking for someone who has had experience working with SEN children.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the day, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
- Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

**Requirements and skills**:

- Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Experience working with SEN children - essential
- Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- SEN: 1 year (required)
