The Role:

- Lead for Network Coordination will lead on the efficient management of Liverpool’s Road network under TMA 2004, ensuring mínimal disruption to traffic flow
- Lead for Network Coordination will provide strategic leadership on stakeholder coordination, performance management, and value-for-money assessments
- Lead for Network Coordination will oversee Street Works compliance with NRSWA 1991, TMA 2004, LoPS, and Highways Act 1980, ensuring statutory duties are fulfilled
- Lead for Network Coordination will Manage event and construction-related impacts on the highway, maintaining proactive and responsive traffic management
- Lead for Network Coordination will support the Traffic Manager and build collaborative relationships with regional authorities to reduce congestion
- Lead for Network Coordination will promote transport safety, healthy lifestyle initiatives, and equality while ensuring clear stakeholder communication
- Lead for Network Coordination will represent the council at judicial hearings and national forums, contributing to policy and best practice development
- Lead for Network Coordination will provide robust HR leadership, budget control, and staff development to ensure consistent service improvement and accountability
