Prospero Teaching are currently seeking Maths graduates who are interested in becoming Teaching Assistants to work at a vibrant and friendly secondary school.

**THE MATHS TEACHING ASSISTANT POSTS INFORMATION**:
A popular school located in Camden are seeking teaching assistants to join the department and assist the teachers and students within the classroom. The ideal Graduate will be a clear communicator, someone dedicated, be a good role model and be passionate aboutbuilding rapport with students.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO FILL THIS MATHS TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE**:

- degree qualified
- Good GCSE Grades

**HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- 8am - 3.35pm
- Monday - Friday
- Full-time ideally

**WHAT DOES THE MATHS TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE INVOLVE**:
The teaching role includes supporting the class teacher and students during lessons, 1:1 session, intervention groups and working with other departments. The lessons will have delivered to all year groups Key Stage 3, Key stage 4, and the desire to workwith Key Stage 5 is preferable but not essential.

**WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MY ROLE AS A MATHS GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT?**
As a teaching assistant, you will be exposed to students of various abilities, you will need to analyse data and build up your ability to raise attainment using skills, lesson plans, numeracy, and literacy tasks to raise attainment. Again, this will build yourknowledge of how students are monitored, data is analysed, and attainment is raised, and students are managed more effectively by teachers. As a Maths graduate teaching assistant, you'll learn and implement strategies to support students engage with the curriculum.
